Justin Timberlake, SexyBack singer is back with his second single of 2024, “No Angels.” Amazingly, after the Pop vibes of “Selfish,” the famous American artist takes a 180-degree turn with Disco and funky rhythms.
Disco Sound Suits Him Perfectly
What doesn’t change with this new release is his essence. I’m talking about his magnetive charisma and incredible dance moves, as seen in the music video for “No Angels.” And let’s not forget his unique and hypnotic falsettos that make you want to sing along with him.
“No Angels” is a modern proposal that doesn’t disappoint loyal fans who have followed his career from the beginning. The SexyBack singer is entering a new phase where experimenting with new styles is 100% acceptable.
In other words, I think the Disco sound in this tune suits him perfectly because he uses the right vocal range. In fact, it reminds me of similar songs by Michael Jackson or even Jamiroquai.
Most importantly, “No Angels” is part of his latest 18-track album, ‘Everything I Thought It Was,’ which debuted at number four on the US Billboard 200 chart in March.

The music video has caused some absurd controversy on YouTube from extremist Christian fundamentalists. Sometimes I wonder if these people who criticize so much have never set foot in a movie theater to watch horror films…
Demonizing an artistic work like a music video just because it has a dark theme seems really ridiculous to me. Certainly, art is meant to make people uncomfortable, and haters actually help songs go viral faster. But it’s concerning how common sense and conspiracy theories are eroding the reasoning and logic of some people.
Personally, I really like these visuals directed by Ti West. Indeed, I find them quite creative and daring.
The story of playing with a mythological character who instills panic on the dance floor is something original that grabs attention, and the song is so good that it could easily be the soundtrack of a five-star movie.
That’s what I take away from it, and I look forward to seeing many more surprises from Justin Timberlake soon.
