About Tallinn Music Week
Tallinn Music Week (TMW) is an international new music and city culture festival, as well as a key networking event for music and creative industry professionals. Held annually in Tallinn since 2009, it has grown into one of Europe’s leading platforms for discovering emerging talent and connecting with the global music community.
The event is built around three main components: a multi-genre music festival, a conference, and a city-wide cultural program. Across these, attendees can experience live showcases, panels, workshops, and discussions that explore current trends shaping the music industry and beyond.
Each year, hundreds of artists from across Europe and beyond perform throughout the city, while industry professionals gather to exchange ideas and build new partnerships. With its focus on innovation, creativity, and cross-sector collaboration, TMW offers a space where music connects with broader conversations around culture, technology, and society.
How To Prepare
With showcases, panels, and events happening across multiple venues throughout Tallinn, planning ahead can make a big difference. Take time to review the schedule, identify key sessions or showcases you don’t want to miss, and leave room to explore new artists and ideas.
Because TMW brings together both artists and industry professionals, it’s helpful to come prepared with quick, easy-to-share materials. QR codes linking to your music, updated profiles, and a clear introduction to what you do can go a long way when making connections.
And as always, follow-up is key. Staying in touch after the event helps turn conversations into long-term opportunities and collaborations.
Symphonic’s Sander Stijnen, Director of Business Development Europe, will be speaking on a panel you don’t want to miss! 🎤 See details below…
