Boosie Badazz and Webbie Bring Their Reunion to Angela Yee’s Way Up

Boosie Badazz and Webbie joined Angela Yee to discuss their renewed partnership as Back At It brought the Baton Rouge duo together on a new release.

Boosie Badazz and Webbie’s latest Way Up With Angela Yee interview arrives at a timely moment for their shared catalog. The October 22 episode puts the longtime collaborators side by side to discuss “Pull Up” and Back At It, rather than treating their reunion as a passing guest appearance.

On the iHeart show, Angela Yee welcomed the two Louisiana artists back together, with Maino also joining the conversation. Their appearance combines the easy familiarity of an established partnership with the business of introducing another project to listeners.

The history behind that partnership extends well beyond this release cycle. Webbie appeared on Boosie’s early For My Thugz project, while records such as “Independent” and “Wipe Me Down (Remix)” helped make their collaborations a recognizable part of Southern rap.

Back At It is now available, with Apple Music listing an October 24 release through Badazz Music Syndicate. Its digital edition runs for 29 minutes and includes 10 entries, with “Pull Up” appearing at both the beginning and the end of the sequence.

The streaming tracklist also includes “Come On,” “Walk,” “Shake That,” “Tombstone,” “Do It,” “Take It There,” “Trill Shit” and “Cold World.” That compact running time makes this a focused addition to the pair’s joint work, with the interview offering a separate space for their personalities and shared history.

For listeners returning through the songs that first connected them to Boosie and Webbie, the release offers something more immediate than a retrospective. Their Way Up appearance places the familiar duo in the present, promoting new music together while giving fans the full conversation alongside it.
