Kris James returns with some “Caught Feelings”

Pop

Liverpool born singer Kris James is firmly on the rise. Having recently supported Will Young and Anastacia throughout UK and Europe on tour, he has just released his brand new single, “Caught Feelings”.

The song sees Kris inviting his fans to delve deep into the depths of his true essence, offering an intimate glimpse into his raw emotions and genuine self.

“Caught Feelings” shows how Kris has matured as a singer and songwriter. It was co-written and produced with award-winning Sam Williams. The song fully displays how Kris’ compelling blend of classic pop songcraft and heart-on-the sleeve candour is making a huge connection with people who relate to the universal experiences that he explores. The song also showcases the strength of Kris’ lyrics and melodic, soulful vocals.

Music has always been a huge part of Kris’ life since childhood. When he was only eight-years-old, he would sing classics by Otis Redding, Prince and Frank Sinatra . Kris always showed a deep appreciation for songwriting and he would sit in his bedroom honing his craft, ready for when he could perform his own songs to audiences around the world.

Kris made his debut in 2010 with the track “B Side”, while he really gained momentum from 2018 with the singles “Eyes Open” and “Anymore”. We first ‘caught’ site of Kris the following year with his Summer bop “Get Back To Love“, and it’s just been getting bigger and better for him ever since with popular tunes “Naive” (2020) and “The Way You Move” in 2022. “Caught Feelings” is the first new tune from Kris since then and promises not to be his last as the songwriter has been working hard on new material for some months now.
