‘SynthNation’ Has Arrived – Charlie Syntari’s EDM Album Rocks!

On the heels of his breakthrough debut single “Memories”—which dominated Apple Music’s New in Pop playlist in 2021—Charlie Syntari is set to electrify the music world once again with the release of his first full-length album, ‘SynthNation.’ This 12-track collection solidifies Charlie’s reputation as a rising star in the electronic dance music (EDM) scene, effortlessly blending Dance-Pop energy with the emotional resonance of Progressive House and Melodic Trance.

“I wanted to reproduce my debut song, Memories, which I did in the form of Memories ’24, and it just flowed from there,” says Charlie. “One song led to another, and before I knew it, I had eight songs. It just made sense to keep going to 12 tracks.”

Inspired by the infectious rhythms of the ’90s and early 2000s Dance scene, ‘SynthNation’ captures the spirit of an era when beats and lyrics connected deeply. As Charlie puts it, “I am bound to it. That time in music was special—it paired floor-filling beats with personal, meaningful messages, and I wanted to bring that same energy to this album.”



True to his vision, ‘SynthNation’ takes listeners on a ride through emotional highs and introspective lows, weaving together uplifting major-key melodies and poignant minor tones. Tracks like “Hey, Sister,” “My Desire,” “Calamity,” and a reimagined version of Intermission’s 1993 classic “Piece of My Heart” showcase Charlie’s ability to create songs that are both dancefloor-ready and emotionally resonant.

“At its core, ‘SynthNation’ is a celebration of hope and escape. While I was producing the album, the world felt heavy, filled with so much negativity”. Charlie reflects. “Music became my escape—a place where there was peace, where I could leave the weight behind. That’s the feeling I hope listeners take away from this album.”

The recording process was a labour of love for Charlie, marked by late-night studio sessions and spontaneous creativity. “Usually, around 9 or 10 p.m., I’d move into the studio,” he shares. “If the flow didn’t come immediately, I’d play the piano or guitar to find it. By 2 a.m., I’d call it a night, and the next morning, I’d listen back, hoping the work was good enough to build on.” This meticulous approach paid off, resulting in an album described by Charlie in five words: melodic, feel-good Dance music.
