Miami vocalist and DJ Jaki Nelson just dropped something that feels perfectly engineered for 2026. “Models,” her new Tech House collab with Hackatone, takes the language of artificial intelligence and turns it into a full-blown celebration.
Training models. Popping bottles. It is a party record with a brain, and actual humans made every second of it. The irony could not be more on purpose.

When the Dancefloor Becomes the Algorithm
Hackatone’s production hits exactly how you want Tech House to hit: tight, driving, zero fat on it. Nelson just rides it. The hook is simple enough to catch on the first listen and smart enough that you’ll still be thinking about it on the third.
And once you realize the whole song is a double meaning, you kind of want to go back and listen again just to appreciate it.
“I wanted to write something that spoke to where we all are right now,” says Nelson.
“Everyone is talking about AI, training models, machine learning. I thought, what if we could bring these models to life and give them personalities? What if we could take them out on the town? There’s already enough people that think ChatGPT is their girlfriend – this is obviously a reality we’re getting closer to every day.”

A Diamond-Certified Artist Running at Full Speed
Let’s talk about the moment Jaki Nelson is in right now. Her vocal performance on “Seven Nation Army” with DJ Fluke recently achieved Diamond certification in France, surpassing 130 million Spotify streams and earning Gold status in Canada in February.
Her voice landed on last year’s finale of Love Island USA and in two Coca-Cola commercials, and she opened Miami Music Week 2026 at the Clevelander, opening for Typo. With over 1.2 million monthly Spotify listeners, she is one of the most consistent forces in independent Dance music right now, and “Models” is the proof.
