Drake is back outside in Toronto, and whatever he has planned for September 15 appears to be getting bigger by the day.
Fans spotted the OVO superstar filming on Lake Ontario near the Toronto waterfront, where he was seen aboard a small green vessel outfitted with a camera crane. Clips from the shoot quickly made their way online, adding another visual breadcrumb to Drake’s increasingly mysterious “FOMO,” short for “Fear of Missing Out,” rollout.
Notice we said Lake Ontario. Not that Late America. That latter is not a thing in our opinion.
Anyway…
Drake has already set the clock. “FOMO” is scheduled to premiere Tuesday, September 15 at 9 p.m. ET on YouTube, although he has yet to reveal exactly what fans will be watching.
That uncertainty has essentially become the campaign.
The Toronto rapper previously teased a physical CD case bearing the “FEAR OF MISSING OUT” title, placing it on the same table associated with the rollout of his earlier 2026 releases. Family photos and other cryptic imagery have also surfaced as Drake continues feeding fans clues without giving away the destination.
There are plenty of possibilities.
Drake already delivered the three-album package “ICEMAN,” “HABIBTI” and “MAID OF HONOUR” on May 15, making another full-length album an aggressive fourth release in the same year. A tour announcement would give all that new material a massive live platform. Fans have also floated a deluxe project, new single, documentary, short film or the arrival of previously unreleased records, including the heavily requested “Lake Como.”
The Lake Ontario shoot only adds more fuel to the visual-project speculation. It also follows another recent Drake shoot at Toronto’s Canadian National Exhibition, where he was spotted wearing an Iron Man costume.
For now, Drake appears perfectly comfortable letting everyone guess.
At 9 p.m. ET on September 15, “Fear of Missing Out” finally becomes something fans can actually see. The mystery is exactly what that something will be.
I kept it entirely link-free, quote-safe, conversational, and within your 250–350 word range.
